Painting has an inherent power to heal the fatigued brain muscles and improve cognitive decline. Painting is meditation! Painting is Therapy!
How and when to start Painting Therapy
Children from school days are encouraged to be involved in some extracurricular activities, to divert their energies constructively and learn a new skill as they are quick learners.
However, this can be achieved at any age irrespectively. One should develop painting as hobby, to artistically spend their time away from regular routine work, to vent their emotions positively. Oil painting is one such artistic activity which though said to be a costly one, but it is a rather beautiful way of showcasing your talent in front of your family and friends.
Painting helps to focus your brain and condition it by zoning in and zoning out activities while painting. You are submerged in your imagination and thoughts and suddenly brought back to real world by slight distractions. You focus to choose the colors , try to mix them may be or try diluting it sometimes. Or try shading it different way depending on light in your room or some other perspective. You are lost in your creation and brought back to reality in fraction of seconds. Take decisions on the go and in this way condition your brain power to face situations. Artists have lesser known cases of memory loss illnesses in their age journey!

Creative oil spills
Creative oil spills, here means, the acrylic paints, synthetic oil colors and other product of liquid petroleum hydrocarbon, such as oil medium, that is spilled on my canvas, in my canvas creations during relaxation time.
This creative oil spill luckily do not disturb the surroundings, unlike the ocean oil spills that disturbs and alters the natural balance between environment and life on earth.
This hobby of mine, since childhood led me, to participate in art competitions and experiment with pencil colors, crayons, water based colors, on paper and art books and finally led to try my hands on canvas with oil colors. I also got an opportunity, to showcase my oil on canvas work, in an exhibition cum sale in Malaka Spice Art Gallery in Pune, India in 2009.
Some of my art work, created on request of my near and dear ones still adorn their walls and bring back beautiful memories, when I get chance to visit them during vacations. My parents always encouraged to improve and helped me to visit art galleries to appreciate and learn more from the work of renowned artists. Here are some creations for your kind view!!
